John, on my recent podcast with comedian Amber Ruffin, she asked me a question I get quite a lot.

To paraphrase, “With the Trump Administration attacking you from every angle, aren’t you scared? Do you ever think of leaving?”

Here’s my answer to that question, John, I am not leaving because they don’t get to win.

This is my country. My patriotism tells me that I have to defend diversity. I have to stand up for equity. I have to demand inclusion, and that you can't do those things if you aren't in the mix.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, Mike Johnson, Donald Trump, whoever can attack me, but they won’t win because I am not leaving and I am not giving up.
