I was raised on a military base in California by my dad who was a Marine Corps pilot and my mom who was an elementary school principal. I worked my way through high school and college, earned a science degree at UC Davis as an All-American swimmer, and joined the Peace Corps to serve communities affected by corruption and poverty in Paraguay.

When I saw my city government prioritizing insiders over everyday families, I ran for City Council in Norco. It was a tough race — Republicans outnumber Democrats by almost 30% in our town — but I won and became the only Democrat on the council.

I’ve fought to make government more transparent, build affordable housing for veterans, and make life easier for working families — and I’ve delivered. Now I’m ready to take my fight to Washington.

I’m up against longtime incumbent, Ken Calvert, with deep pockets and the national support of MAGA donors. His voting record is enough to make you sick:

— He voted countless times to ban abortion nationwide.
— He voted against the Violence Against Women Act.
— He voted against recognizing same-sex marriage.
— He has proudly supported January 6th insurrectionists and criminals.
— He voted for (AND defended) the Medicaid cuts in Trump's Big Ugly Bill.
