John,
Yesterday, Donald Trump finally succeeded in killing the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
PBS, NPR, local radio stations in rural towns – gone. Public media that millions rely on for unbiased news, education, and culture has been wiped out under the excuse of “eliminating wasteful spending.”
But come on, John. We know better.
Trump doesn’t care about cutting waste. He’s about to spend nearly $1 billion of taxpayer money renovating a “free” luxury jet gifted by Qatar – just so he can have a flashier version of Air Force One.
And he dares to say we can’t afford PBS?
We’re mobilizing in communities where public broadcasting has gone dark – and working to hold Trump’s enablers accountable at the ballot box. But we’re falling short of our weekly goal, and we need your help.
Can you chip in $15 to help power the fight against Trump’s corrupt, anti-democratic agenda?
