With your support, we reached our end-of-month goal. It couldn’t come at a more impactful time in my first re-election race.
Here’s a quick recap of what happened in July:
First: A Republican challenger entered the race with a full-fledged endorsement from Mike Garcia, the GOP incumbent I defeated in November in one of the closest races in the country.
Then: The national GOP doubled down on their attacks with a paid campaign running ads in the district as you read this message.
Now: Thanks to your support, we ended July with strength and are building the voter outreach effort we need to keep this seat blue for the sake of this district and the House majority.
With the chaos in Washington, I’m laser-focused on delivering results that matter for CA-27. The so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” that passed in July will actively hurt working families and give billionaires a tax break – it’s a disgrace.
There’s a lot more to be done, and with your support, I will keep fighting in Congress.
