john,

Across the country, campaigns have been talking about the dreaded summer slump, that time when fundraising slows down and momentum fades after Election Day.

But thanks to this team, we beat it.

So many of you stepped up at the very last minute, right when we needed you most. You showed me— and everyone watching —that you’re paying attention, you’re invested, and you’re ready to help this campaign grow stronger every day.

As we look ahead to August, I’m proud to say we’re closing out July in a great spot. But the road ahead won’t be easy. We’re running a grassroots campaign in one of the most competitive purple districts in the country, and with what we’re seeing from Republican leadership right now, we simply can’t afford to lose this seat.

Look john, I know that as long as I have you fighting by my side—especially in an off-year—we can keep this momentum going and keep WA-08 blue. Can I count on you to chip in whatever you can to help my team and me get ahead in August? >> [link removed]

With gratitude,

Kim
