First: Panicked over losing the House in 2026, Trump came to Republicans in the Texas Legislature and demanded that they redistrict blue seats into red ones. They delivered. One map they are suggesting eliminates all 12 of Texas’s blue Congressional districts. 

Then: California Democrats fired back by declaring that if Texas goes through with their plan, California will fire back by redistricting Republican districts. 

Now: Republicans, trying to gain an edge in the rapidly escalating redistricting arms race that they started, have launched a massive operation to seize the PA Supreme Court in an obscure 2025 election so they can ram through maps that eliminates all of PA’s blue districts. 

This is how we lose our Democracy. One congressional map at a time. 

Democrats can go tit for tat and eliminate GOP House districts in blue states, but the GOP is one step ahead of us… They are fixated on taking over State Supreme Courts in swing states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

We can gerrymander every blue state and they can gerrymander every red state but if they gerrymander the purple swing states, simple arithmetic shows we lose.

We have three months until election day in Pennsylvania and Democrats are woefully unprepared. The GOP is fully mobilized and ready for all out war whereas Democrats in PA barely even know there’s an election happening.
