Hey John,

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you — for two big reasons.

First, I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who took a moment to sign my birthday card and send kind messages. It really meant a lot to see your notes of support. I’ll be honest, the past 7 months have been very challenging and it was a lovely reminder I’m not in this fight alone.

Second, I want to thank everyone who chipped in to help us reach our fundraising goal for July. I’m happy to share that we hit it our goal because of all of you! I really couldn’t be more grateful for this team.

Yesterday I got the chance to spend some time with Pam and the kids and today I’m feeling fired up and ready to stay in the fight. The stakes have never been higher, and I’m deeply grateful for the responsibility and trust that come with this role.
