I know you’ve heard a lot from me and my team lately, so I just want to say this:

Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who’s chipped in to help me defend this toss-up seat and start clawing back the progress we’ve lost under this shameless Republican majority.

I know that, right now, so many members of this team probably don’t like to think about politics. Even for me, it’s heart-wrenching to think about all the devastation and destruction that Donald Trump has inflicted on moms, dads, and kids all across the country.

But you and I both know: We can’t bury our heads in the sand for the next four years.

That’s why I’m more grateful than ever to each and every one of you who is committed to this fight.

I understand that staying engaged in the political process right now is painful. But despite that pain, you haven’t become discouraged. You haven’t allowed Donald Trump to shatter your hope for a better future.

And I can’t thank you enough for that perseverance.

Finally, if you didn’t get the chance to chip in ahead of our July fundraising deadline, I hope I can count on your donation. So many of your friends, family, and neighbors have joined this team to move CA-47 forward, and I’d be honored to have your support as well.
