Deadline

Hi John,

I’ll be the first woman to represent Washington’s 6th District in Congress. My final quarterly deadline before the primary is in 5 days, and I need to raise money to contact voters. Please rush a $7 donation now to help me win.

Imagine my surprise when I saw that my Democratic opponent Derek Kilmer liked this tweet — from his Congressional account, no less:

I’m running a strong issue-oriented campaign to fight for Social Security, housing, health care, and justice for this district. Rep. Kilmer hasn’t once acknowledged my campaign, but he's liking posts on social media dismissing me as “strident”?

We have 3,500+ donors. We've raised more than all of Kilmer's opponents — from ALL parties — in the last 3 cycles combined.

It is insulting to WA-06 voters to pretend my campaign doesn’t exist, but what’s even more insulting is that Rep. Kilmer signed a letter calling for Social Security cuts in a district where 24% are on Social Security.

He’s half-walked it back, but he hasn’t retracted his signature. As The Intercept put it: “Democrat Facing Progressive Primary Challenge Signs Letter Supporting Cuts to Social Security — Then Quietly Walks It Back at Home.”

Personally, I'd rather "stridently" support Social Security than flip-flop on it. Can you donate now, so I can win and stridently fight for Social Security in Congress?

You can always count on me to protect and EXPAND Social Security. To do that, I’m going to need your help. I don’t have Big Pharma and health insurance donors like Kilmer. I have individual grassroots supporters like you. If you can afford to, please give today before my deadline at this link:
