Dear Jack,
Whether you are enjoying the last weeks of summer or gearing up for a busy fall, plenty is happening in our community! Here are a few highlights: |
Opening Doors: Neighbors & New Beginnings |

Smalll businesses make our community a vibrant and dynamic place to live. Congratulations to MoniArt! |
Small businesses are the backbone of Loudoun, and last Wednesday we welcomed another family-owned one to our neighborhood - MoniArt! As neighbors, business leaders, and Loudoun County Public School representatives joined School Board Member Arben Istrefi, Supervisor Koran Saines, and me to mark the occasion, we enjoyed robust conversation and delicious food from Anna Sudha Community Kitchens. Several businesses contributed directly to the local public schools, highlighting the school-business partnership that LCPS and Arben Istrefi (the School Board Representative appointed as the liaison) have cultivated. This gathering showed strong support for small business growth and public schools in our district. Congratulations to MoniArt on this inspiring launch - we know that they are bound for success!

Virginia Veterans Network |
|
|
This week, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Commissioner Chuck Zingler of the Department of Veterans Services ("DVS") to discuss ways we could better support our veteran communities. One key way is through the Virginia Veterans Network (“VVN”), a free veteran-built online hub offering streamlined access to hundreds of services—from job training and legal aid to healthcare, peer support, and education resources. As of July 28, 2025, the platform has surpassed 30,000 registered users, a major step toward reaching the approximately 700,000 veterans calling Virginia home. Veterans and their families can schedule appointments with the Department of Veterans Services, access federal and state benefits, and connect with trusted nonprofit partners—all in one user-friendly place.
To use the Virginia Veterans Network, please click the button below: |
If you are a veteran who uses VVN and have feedback on how to make the system better, let us know! The Department of Veterans Services is always looking for insight on how to streamline and improve VVN so veterans get the resources they need. Email us at [email protected], and we will take your concerns directly to DVS and VVN's administrators.

A Night with Senator Ghazala Hashmi and Former Delegate Jay Jones |

|
State Senator Ghazala Hashmi and Former Delegate Jay Jones. |
Last week, I came together with elected officials, community leaders, and advocates to support Senator Ghazala Hashmi and Jay Jones, our nominees for Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General. These are two dedicated leaders who embody the values we need in Richmond. It was inspiring to stand alongside so many community members committed to building a more just, inclusive, and forward-looking Virginia. From protecting public education to defending reproductive freedom, Senator Hashmi and Jay Jones are fighting for the issues that matter most to our families, and I am ready to help them cross the finish line on November 4th. Remember that early voting begins on September 19th.

Navigating state agencies can be confusing and difficult at times. As the delegate for House District 27, I can help you communicate with state agencies such as the Virginia Employment Commission, Departments of Taxation, Social Services, Transportation, and more! I can also submit inquiries with those agencies on your behalf. There are limits to what I can do, however. For example, I am unable to expedite cases or force state agencies to favor your inquiry, provide legal advice or recommend a specific attorney, intervene with judicial issues, overturn decisions, or be involved with matters between private businesses.
Whether you require my office’s assistance, want to bring an issue to my attention or invite me to a community event, please reach out! If there is any way I can assist you, please reach out here: https://atoosareaser.com/help/.
Alongside constituent services, I can submit drafts for commending and memorial resolutions. If you know of a person or organization in the district that deserves special recognition, please submit a request here: resolution request form. |
If you are happy with he work I am doing, please consider donating to my campaign for re-election using the button below. |
