Riley Moore
Meet Congressman Moore:
Before being elected to Congress in 2024, Riley Moore served as West Virginia's State Treasurer. There, he took on the radical Left's anti-fossil fuel ESG agenda head-on—protecting West Virginia jobs and industries from political overreach. Riley cut government waste, downsized his office, and returned $15 million to hardworking taxpayers.
Earlier, Riley's commitment to public service was nurtured in the West Virginia House of Delegates, where he represented Jefferson County—including his hometown of Harpers Ferry in the 67th district. As Assistant Majority Whip and then Majority Leader, Riley helped advance strong conservative policies to defend our values and freedoms. Before public office, Riley worked with his hands—as a welder.
Riley was raised in Morgantown, WV. and graduated from Zachary High School. Riley graduated with a Bachelor's in Government and International Politics from George Mason University. He received his master's degree in strategic security studies from the National Defense University.
He lives in Harpers Ferry with his wife, Mina, and their three children.
