Tarrant County's Zohran Mamdani, Part 1 By now, you're likely familiar with Tarrant County's very own radical democrat and Muslim State Representative, Salman Bhojani. But do you really know him? Salman Bhojani isn't who he says he is, and he isn't fit to legislate on our behalf. In reality, he is the Zohran Mamdani of Tarrant County. Someone who has had businesses forfeited over half a dozen times for failure to pay taxes is unfit to make budgetary decisions for Texas citizens. Bhojani has no less than 7 tax forfeitures against either himself or his companies. He has two main shell LLCs that hold dozens under them, paying him a nice salary according to his financial disclosure. One of them, Bhojani Law, PLLC, had a multi-thousand-dollar tax lien against it as recently as 2023! The other, Bhojani Holdings, had a tax forfeiture in 2021. Our Muslim representative has also found himself in legal trouble relating to the many shell companies and trusts in his name. He is currently being sued for allegedly failing to pay millions of dollars in debt on a property he purchased in Chicago. Bhojani is also involved in a lawsuit against a former business partner's wife, who alleges that he attempted to steal assets from her family trust after her husband passed away. Bhojani helped to establish the family trust, making himself its protector, as well as a trustee after the death of the woman's husband. You can read more about the case here. According to our research, it also appears that Bhojani lied about his upbringing. He claims to have grown up as a poor immigrant, but this seems to be untrue. For someone who claims to have been dirt poor, so much that he lived with 21 relatives in a single apartment in Pakistan, his family seems to have quite a bit of money. Before coming to America, the Bhojani family first immigrated to Quebec, Canada. While there, his father owned an import-export company (which was sued for copyright infringement by the owner of the Bakugan toy brand) and sent Salman to private school. Bhojani graduated from College Prep International, an English-language private school. He attended a private college called Marianapolis College before moving to DFW. Bhojani is also attached to at least two trusts. One, set up in 2008, is called the Bhojani Legacy Trust, which is named in the Stearns Bank lawsuit we mentioned earlier. The second, called "Dream Trust," was established in 2023, recently purchased a $3 million home in Southlake. One of Bhojani's shell companies, WinEstate LLC, has had two tax forfeitures, in both 2021 and 2023, and the registered address for this company is at the $3 million property. Ownership of the mansion was transferred to Dream Trust on April 19, 2023, which was exactly one month after the trust was created. While this last part is, for now, speculation, it's worth mentioning. Bhojani is an Ismaili Muslim, a niche sect of Shia Islam which is largely concentrated in Bhojani's birthplace of Karachi, Pakistan. The Bhojani surname is prominent among a group known as the Khoja Ismailis, a group hailing from Karachi and historically associated with the wealthier merchant class. Given that Bhojani is an Ismaili from Karachi, Pakistan, it is highly likely that his family comes at the very least from moderate wealth. Salman Bhojani is not who you think he is. He is unfit to serve as a state legislator and will do anything to get ahead. He is Tarrant County's own Zohran Mamdani. Fort Worth DEI Vote We've mentioned before that the City of Fort Worth had been considering a vote to end the City DEI programs, but had backed out at the last minute. Now it's happening. On August 5th, the Council will vote on ending the programs. If they fail to sufficiently root out DEI such that they still run afoul of Trump's executive order, they will risk losing a quarter billion dollars in funding. You can read more about it HERE. DFW Teacher Arrested for Murder Another example of Texas public schools' moral failure hit the news this week. This time, the alleged predator teaching young children is alleged not just to have creeped on children, but to have allegedly murdered an entire family. Andrew McGann, who was arrested and charged with the indiscriminate murder of two parents (in front of their children), formerly taught in Plano ISD, Donald Elementary in Lewisville, and multiple schools in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Concerned parents of his former students allege a litany of disturbing behavior towards young girls in his classrooms. His mugshot will confirm that McGann appeared unwell. It's troubling that he was allowed to work in elementary schools in the first place. You can read more about it HERE. Schatzline and Newsom Fight over Redistricting With the Democrats fully mobilizing in an attempt to stop Texas from redistricting, loathsome California governor Gavin Newsom has turned his sights on Tarrant County Representative Nate Schatzline. You can see Schatzline's original post here, and Gavin Newsom's response here. Schatzline gave a comment on the altercation, which you can read here. It's not every day that you see Gavin Newsom coming after our local elected officials. Our hope is that all of our representatives and senators will follow Schatzline's leadership and refuse to bow to the Democrats' efforts to stop redistricting. Share The Roundup with Friends!
