Tonight's Fireside Chat will take place in the context of the new
strategic potential which has opened up in the wake of Russian
President Putin's newly released history of World War II which was
published in full in the National Interest on the occasion of
the War’s 75th anniversary.
In a commentary
on that piece, Helga Zepp-LaRouche stresses that Putin’s piece and his
accompanying initiative for the five powers of the UN’s Security
council to meet and discuss the way forward for the world could, at
this point in history, very well prevent World War III.
Putin, like Lyndon and Helga LaRouche, locates the rise of fascism
in the same London and Wall Street imperium which now attacks Donald
Trump. Just as they maneuvered to pit Russia and Germany against one
another in a war which would destroy both countries, they now seek to
pit the United States against Russia and China while sponsoring the
rise of fascist movements within the United States.
