Trump is in Wisconsin today as part of a “major offensive” to win in a state that can make or break his re-election chances — after all, his campaign is taking notice of the same polls we’re seeing.

According to Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight, the polling average shows Donald Trump is within a single digit of winning Wisconsin again. That’s why he’s here right now — and why he has pledged to return “repeatedly.”

Trump won Wisconsin by fewer than 23,000 votes in 2016. This year’s election could be decided by an even slimmer margin. That means we have to do everything in our power to make sure he’s not successful.
