As we close in on our June 30th FEC fundraising deadline, we wanted to make sure you had the latest updates in our fight to flip California’s 8th:

Just before the primary election, our opponent Jay Obernolte was endorsed by President Trump himself. Ever since, Obernolte has been juicing that endorsement for financial support from the far-right.

Obernolte was also named a “Young Gun Contender” by The National Republican Party. ‘Young Guns’ are given priority access to DC money, and they’re picked because they agree with cutting the Affordable Care Act, gutting Medicare, and defunding Social Security.

Obernolte is also self-funding a significant portion of his campaign operation. He’s already loaned himself $1.2 million.

We have a tall task, but CA-08 is our best shot at flipping another House seat in California. If you can, please make a donation of $10 or to help us hit our FEC fundraising goal.
