Friend–

I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss this message from Joe – despite all Mitch McConnell's money already deployed to hijack this race, polling shows that Doug is tied with his most likely opponent.

Our momentum hasn't stopped there. This week, we launched the first TV ad of the race, and the feedback we’ve already received tells us that this message from Doug could be what pushes him over the edge.

If you haven’t yet, watch it for yourself – then help us build on this momentum by contributing whatever you can so we can keep Doug’s message on the air. >> [[link removed]]

Friend,

I know you've probably seen all the stories calling Doug this year's most vulnerable Senator. Yes, he's definitely Mitch McConnell's top target. McConnell and his dark money are going to try to meddle in this race, no doubt. They already have.

But if you've been digging into the numbers like I have, you'll see that it's very clear Doug Jones has a clear path to victory, no matter what anyone else says. Our latest data shows Doug tied 46-46 with his likely challenger, Tommy Tuberville.

I repeat. Doug's tied 46-46. We won in 2017 by 21,924 votes. This is going to come down to a few votes again, which means your help is going to make all the difference. Can you help make sure we win this? >>[[link removed]]

It's true - Doug's going to have a tough race this year. But our newest poll shows that we have a clear path to victory. When you look at the numbers, we're starting from an even stronger position than we did in 2017:

– African American voters were key to Doug's victory in 2017, and our data shows that the African American vote is once again going to be critical.
– Doug's increasing his support among suburban voters and white female voters – key swing audiences in 2017 and this year.
– New voters and young voters are moving to Doug even more than they did in 2017.

The difference between 2017 and 2020 is that Doug's had nearly three years to prove himself as a Senator, raise his name recognition, and deliver on the promises he made to Alabama in 2017. He's accomplished all that and more. He said he'd go to Washington and bring people together. I'd call passing 17 bipartisan bills pretty good evidence. He said he'd stand up for what's right. And he's done that every step of the way.

The thing that's the same from 2017 is you've got Doug's back. While he's been working hard in the Senate for us, you've consistently stepped up and made sure that we're ready to win again. Your help was the difference last time, and it means more than you know.

Everything I'm looking at shows we are going to win this race, but we can't do it without your help. Will you make a contribution today and make sure we keep Doug Jones in the Senate? >>[[link removed]]

There was no secret science to how we won in 2017. It wasn't a miracle or a fluke. We won because Doug had a clear message of bringing people together and the people of Alabama were sick of all the chaos and division.

That message is even more true today. The difference this time is Doug's proven himself. Alabama gave him a chance in 2017, and he's kept his promise.

Doug Jones is tied 46-46. Let's help him win. >>[[link removed]]
