Hi John,

This is your chance to weigh in on the fight to defund the CBC.

The CBC is costing taxpayers $1.4 billion this year and it is not being accountable to you.

It said it would get rid of its big bonuses, but then it turned around and handed out historically huge pay hikes at the same time.

Thanks to taxfighters like you, the CTF team in Ottawa got our hands on a list of CBC employees that are being paid more than $100,000 - it is about 65 pages long and it’s FULL of managers.

The CBC has more than 250 directors, 450 managers and 780 producers that are all paid more than $100,000 per year.

The CBC blacked out more than 200 employees from that list, so we don’t even know what roles they’re playing, we just know you’re paying for them.

Also, the CBC is refusing to say how much money it’s spending on advertising.

The CBC is a bloated bureaucratic mess that’s refusing to be transparent with you — now it’s your turn to have a say.

This one-question survey takes just a few seconds. But your voice helps us keep fighting the issues that matter most to you. Just click your answer to automatically vote.

Question: Do you want to keep fighting to defund the CBC?
YES - they’re wasting taxpayer dollars ([link removed] > 1|*true&status2=

I was a Parliament Hill journalist for a long time, but I was still SHOCKED at the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of managers that are stuffed into the CBC building.

Thanks for stepping up and fighting for taxpayers – you’re making a difference!

Sincerely,

Kris Sims
