Fellow Patriot,

It is the honor of a lifetime to serve you in the United States Congress, and I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me to represent our community. Following the special election, our team immediately began working to ensure a smooth transition. We assumed office the very next day, are now staffed, and are actively engaged in both legislative work and constituent services. If we can ever be of service, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office at Patronis.House.Gov.

On July 15, I had the honor of joining House leadership, along with Frank and Mandy Patti of Patti Marine Enterprises, a true cornerstone of Pensacola’s maritime community, to talk about how the One, Big, Beautiful Bill is delivering real wins for small businesses. With no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and an extension of the Trump tax cuts, we are helping workers keep more of what they earn while making it easier for business owners to stay open and grow. Frank Patti also spoke about how the new Maritime Prosperity Zones are a game changer for businesses like his, offering strong tax incentives to drive investment in shipyards, ports, and other waterfront industries. I am grateful to House leadership for the opportunity to speak at their press conference and highlight how Northwest Florida is showing the rest of the country that the One, Big, Beautiful Bill is a win for America. On July 18, I proudly voted for the Defense Appropriations Act, which passed the House of Representatives. This bill includes a 3.8% pay raise for all military personnel starting in 2026. These brave men and women put their lives on the line to defend our country every day, and I’m proud we had the chance to show our appreciation. The bill also takes steps to improve quality of life, readiness, and stability for our servicemembers by slowing the pace of permanent change of station moves. This change alone will save taxpayers over $662 million. Just as importantly, the bill emphasizes fiscal responsibility by making targeted DOGE cuts within the Department of Defense and eliminating wasteful DEI programs from our military. Florida’s First Congressional District is home to thousands of active duty servicemembers. I’m working hard in Congress to make sure they receive the care, stability, and compensation they’ve earned through their patriotic service. For more, click HERE.

July was Military Consumer Month, first established by the Federal Trade Commission in 2013 to raise awareness about the financial challenges faced by active duty servicemembers and veterans and the growing threat of scams targeting them. Here in Northwest Florida, where so many proudly serve, military families are often prime targets for fraud. That is why it is critical to stay vigilant. A few simple steps can make a big difference. Avoid unknown numbers. Do not let anyone pressure you into acting quickly. Be extra cautious when using payment apps. Most importantly, if something does not feel right, talk to someone you trust, whether it is a friend, family member, financial advisor, neighbor, or fellow servicemember. Staying informed and connected is one of the best ways to stay protected. For more, click HERE.

This month, I had the opportunity to question Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy about how the One, Big, Beautiful Bill is laying the groundwork for a brand-new, modernized air traffic control system here in the United States. Secretary Duffy is focused on upgrading the telecom, radio, voice switches, and radar systems that our air traffic controllers rely on—critical infrastructure that ensures flights run safely and on time. As a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the Aviation Subcommittee, I’m proud to work alongside Secretary Duffy and the Trump administration to make this vision a reality. Thanks to the initial seed funding provided in the One Big Beautiful Bill, we’re one step closer to a new golden age in American aviation. For more, click HERE.
