But they don’t care because they are planning to cheat in upcoming elections.   John,  This past weekend, Donald Trump was caught blatantly cheating at his Turnberry golf course in Scotland, with a video showing his caddie dropping the president’s ball in a favorable position after shanking a drive: While barely news worthy, it does highlight one important thing for Democrats to remember about Donald Trump: Trump cheats at literally everything —golf, on his taxes, on his wives, and elections too. His newest scheme to rig the 2026 midterms could change everything: Just like the caddie who dropped the ball in a favorable spot after Trump shanked his drive, Texas Republicans are trying to give Trump a more favorable map for the midterms after the disastrous first 7 months of his second term. Trump and the GOP know their agenda is unpopular. They aren’t afraid of the consequences of the inhumane mass deportations, the Epstein coverup, or gutting healthcare for millions by slashing Medicaid. They know the unpopularity of their actions will lead to a massive backlash at the polls. But they don’t care because they are planning to cheat in upcoming elections. Right now, MAGA operatives are quietly dumping millions in this November’s Pennsylvania Supreme Court retention election. By gaining control of the court, they will have MAGA loyalist judges in place that will allow them to gerrymander PA just as badly as TX, and throw out ballots cast by Democrats. Unfortunately, this is happening right under Democrats’ noses. The media is not covering this election at all and hardly any Democrat organizations are getting involved in this race. Defend our Courts is one of the only Democratic organizations engaged in this race, and we are working to keep up with the tens of millions the GOP is dumping into this race but so far we’ve only raised $500k since launching in May. This race needs to be Democrats primary focus. This election is in three months and if MAGA wins,Trump cheating will only get worse.
