I love sitting down with Minnesotans at kitchen tables all across our
state. And in every one of those conversations, I always ask "What's
giving you hope right now?”
It's a question that fuels me, because hope is what drives bold action,
and bold action is what brings about real change.
So I thought today, I'd share what's giving me hope right now. 💚
I’m hopeful because of the surge of support and strength I’m seeing from
across Minnesota in this moment. I’m in Willmar and Madison today, and
what I’m hearing is that people are sick and tired of the status quo.
Across the political spectrum — because we’ve got folks from all parties
showing up — Minnesotans are fired up for change.
I'm hopeful because of the resilient spirit I've witnessed in the families
and communities I've spent my career advocating for — those who face
challenges head-on and stand tall with determination and grace. They keep
going.
Raised by a hardworking single mom in St. Louis Park, I know firsthand how
public schools, housing, and affordable healthcare can make all the
difference. My mom was able to lift us into the middle class thanks to the
support she received. I’m working to give every family the opportunity to
thrive as we did.
I'm hopeful because I've witnessed the power of grassroots movements.
Ordinary people, like you and me, are coming together to make
extraordinary things happen. Whether it's a $5 donation or a shared idea,
every contribution counts, and every voice matters.
It's easy to feel alone or isolated in today's world, or frankly,
hopeless. But when we gather and listen to each other, we create the
strength needed to tackle the challenges that lie ahead. This sense of
solidarity and shared purpose fills me with hope — hope that together we
can continue to make life better for Minnesotans and every American.
Let's keep speaking out with loud and clear voices, supporting one
another, and building a future where our government works for all of us.
