Climate Commitment Act
Funding for the Washington Electric Vehicle Charging Program (WAEVCP) comes from the Climate Commitment Act and will add to the $98 million in existing grants already supporting the installation of more than 5,000 charging ports across the state. The upcoming RFA will be the program’s second round, adding $19.4 million in competitive awards.

Questions? Email the Clean Transportation Unit at [email protected].

Disclaimer
Commerce is publishing a Draft Program Design to receive feedback before making final decisions. All information provided during the feedback phase is subject to change in the Request for Applications (RFA), tentatively scheduled to open in September. All consideration of applications, evaluation, and awards will be based on the RFA and not the Draft Program Design. Visit the EV charging program webpage to learn more about the program.
