Friend,
We’ve hit the streets and fought hard in alliance with our Black siblings this Juneteenth. But the work isn’t yet done. We must continue to have the important conversations that will help us to learn more and creatively continue the fight. To continue this process, we want to come together and have our next discussion on a very real issue within our immigrant communities: anti-Blackness.
We’ve witnessed time and again the dehumanization of Black people. And navigating our role within our immigrant communities requires us to challenge the Anti-blackness that we see — whether amongst strangers, friends, families and even amongst ourselves.
Join us on Thursday, July 2nd at 7:00 PM EST / 4:00 PM PST and let’s talk about how the fight for immigrant justice, including abolishing ICE and fighting against the Deportation Force, is a fight for racial justice:

We know that racism and anti-Blackness show up in immigrant communities. It's up to us to take on how to fight anti-Blackness in our home and in our community. But you’re not alone, during the call, we’ll also hear from immigrant leaders from across the movement about how they are advancing racial justice and creating pro-Black, anti-racists spaces and campaigns.
We want to increase the political understanding of all of our members and that starts with learning how to fight anti-Blackness. Please share with your loved ones!
