August is here. For folks in the United States, that means hurricanes are likely just around the corner. And that's on top of what's already been a record-setting year for severe weather around the world. 

What does this have to do with abortion access? Well, during times of crisis, people need reproductive health care. Here’s a simple graphic that explains it: 

Can you imagine trying to get your life back in order after a severe weather event while also dealing with an unplanned pregnancy and trying to find abortion care? That’s the reality coming for thousands of people in the southeastern U.S., where abortion is already almost impossible to access in many states.
