John, this is outrageous.

Under Donald Trump, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) just moved
to end its ability to fight climate change.
This new proposal would rescind the “endangerment finding,” the scientific
basis for regulating climate pollution under the Clean Air Act.^1
What does that mean? No more regulations on planet warming emissions from
cars, trucks or power plants, and no more restrictions on methane
pollution from oil and gas companies.
We can’t let this happen, John.
Tell Trump’s handpicked EPA head, Lee Zeldin, that he doesn’t get to
abandon his agency’s mission just because it’ll make fossil fuel
billionaires even richer. [ [link removed] ]Tell Lee Zeldin: Do your job and protect our

Tell EPA Admin Lee Zeldin: Do your job

John -
Donald Trump and his handpicked head of the Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA), Lee Zeldin, would like you to believe that burning fossil
fuels doesn’t endanger people or our planet.
They’d also like you to believe that the EPA shouldn’t have the power or
responsibility to regulate climate pollution, and that if we bury our
heads in the sand, the climate crisis will simply disappear.
Well frankly, John, those are
blatant lies.
The mission of the EPA — the Environmental Protection Agency — is to
protect human health and the environment. And Lee Zeldin doesn’t get to
abandon that mission just because it would benefit the Big Oil
billionaires.

message and demand he do his job today.

News broke earlier this week that the Trump administration was trying to
undo the “endangerment finding,” which grants the EPA the power to limit
fossil fuel pollution under the Clean Air Act.^1 It’s the bedrock upon
which many of our country’s efforts to combat the climate crisis have been
built.
And if the Trump administration gets its way, climate experts are warning
that it will result in more climate pollution and more extreme climate
disasters that hurt the most vulnerable among us first.^2
John, ending
the EPA’s ability to regulate climate pollution benefits exactly one
group: climate polluters. If they win this fight, we’ll see untold damage
to our health and our planet.
We need to remind Zeldin that he doesn’t lead the Environmental
Destruction Agency, and that he doesn’t serve the fossil fuel industry. He
serves to protect people and the health of our environment. [ [link removed] ]Will you
