Ken Paxton’s Biblical Divorce Has Not Stopped Him From Pissing Off Every Other Woman Alive!
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton does not know how to take an L. After getting legally bitch-slapped twice for trying to enforce a $100K+ judgment against a New York doctor who prescribed abortion pills to a Texan via telehealth, Ken Paxton is throwing another tantrum—this time suing Ulster County Clerk Taylor Bruck for refusing to play Texas' anti-abortion games. Bruck declined to file the judgment under New York’s abortion “shield law,” which prohibits state officials from assisting out-of-state abortion prosecutions or civil actions.

But Anti-Abortion Attorneys General are Trying to End Those Shield Law Protections STAT!
YEP. Pay close attention! 15 state AG’s are BIG MAD about shield laws taking away their ability to block enforcement of their anti-abortion laws outside of their own states. Rather than, idk, respecting other states’ rights, they’re begging Congress to consider legislation to override shield laws and force their grimy, anti-abortion grifts into any (every) other state. Maybe this is a wild concept, but we have a suggestion for these AGs that might solve everyone’s problems: fuck off.

WAIT—GOOD NEWS ALERT! Double Wins for Abortion!
We love when we can muster up some hope: following the first injunction issued last week, federal judge Indira Talwani issued YET ANOTHER preliminary injunction blocking the bullshit Medicaid cuts in the budget bill trying to defund ALL Planned Parenthood clinics! This ruling helps to keep ALL 600 clinics open and providing the care their communities need.

While this win isn’t permanent, we know anti-abortion legislators stay weaponizing budget policy to push their nefarious plans—so celebrate this win while we can, but stay loud and keep the pressure UP to fight for a future where our care is UNTOUCHABLE!
