Voting is now open in the Corporate Hall of Shame!
|
Dear Friend,
Every year, Corporate Accountability nominates some of the most abusive corporations for induction into the Corporate Hall of Shame. Then you vote for the worst of the worst. The corporation with the most votes earns a dishonorable place in the Corporate Hall of Shame. Cast your ballot before the August 31 deadline.
Right now, we’re facing a terrifying political moment. The Trump regime is fully intent on reshaping the United States into a country run by and for corporations and the white, wealthy elites behind them — by attacking our rights, dismantling programs and services that help protect us, and making it easier for corporations to consolidate power and influence.
So this year we’re nominating corporations that are propping up the authoritarian Trump regime and profiting from this regime’s cruel agenda.
Corporations like GEO Group, which is on the ballot for facilitating and benefiting from the regime’s cruel and brutal immigration policies through its private immigrant detention centers.
And Tesla, which earned its nomination for ongoing safety issues of its vehicles, and for CEO Elon Musk’s outsized and undemocratic role in the early days of the current regime.
Those are just a few examples of some of the most abusive and destructive corporations nominated this year. So take a look at the ballot, read up on the nominees, and let us know which corporation deserves to be inducted into the Corporate Hall of Shame this year.
Then stay tuned because after the votes are tallied we’ll announce which infamous corporation earned a spot in the Hall of Shame in September, and together we’ll take action to hold that corporation accountable. Cast your ballot today!

Now is the time for everyone who values liberty and justice to unite and fiercely defend all our freedoms, communities, and shared resources. So, it’s no wonder that Trump and his corporate backers are trying to divide us along racial and gender-based lines. They know that when we unite and take action together, the many can defeat the money. That together, we can win.
So the power is in your hands. We can’t let corporations off the hook for their destructive actions. Read up on all the nominees, learn about why they need to be held accountable, and cast your vote. By voting, you’re meaningfully engaging with and building the movement challenging corporate abuse and corporate power.

Corporate Accountability stops transnational corporations from devastating democracy, trampling human rights, and destroying our planet. We are building a world rooted in justice where corporations answer to people, not the other way around -- a world where every person has access to clean water, healthy food, a safe place to live, and the opportunity to reach their full human potential.
