Today, in the midst of a global pandemic, Donald Trump’s administration has filed a brief with the U.S. Supreme Court in favor of getting rid of all of the Affordable Care Act.

Trump’s move could strip millions of Americans of their health insurance, and once again allow insurance companies to deny coverage or increase premiums for people with pre-existing conditions like asthma, cancer, and diabetes.

It’s despicable. Health care is a right, not a privilege.

Joe Biden is fighting to save Obamacare’s protections for folks with pre-existing conditions, and, as president he will work to build on the Affordable Care Act and give every American access to affordable health care.

Health care is personal to Joe Biden. That’s why he worked side-by-side with President Obama to pass the Affordable Care Act.

And it’s why he released a plan to give every American a new choice -- a public option like Medicare, lower prescription prices, and end “surprise medical billing.”

But Donald Trump is still going to use every angle he can find to dismantle the ACA and destroy our chance to build on it.

Not even a global public health crisis could stop him, so we know he won’t give up.

We need 50,000 people to sign this petition before midnight and speak up for the 100 million Americans with pre-existing conditions who could have their protections taken away if Trump succeeds.
