READ FOR YOURSELF: Documents Show Hillary OK’d Plan to “Smear” Trump with
Russia Hoax
Newly released intelligence files reveal that Hillary Clinton approved a plan
to “smear” Donald Trump with false Russia collusion claims as a distraction
tactic from her 2016 email scandal.
The plot included “raising the theme of ‘Putin’s support for Trump’” and
“subsequently steering public opinion toward the notion that it needs to
equate” the Russian leader’s political influence campaign with actual hacking
of election infrastructure. The documents also show that Barack Obama pressured
the FBI to wrap up its investigation into Clinton’s emails as she ran for
president.
Similarly, Tulsi Gabbard shared an intelligence whistleblower account
<[link removed]>
earlier this week detailing how a superior threatened him into going along
with the Russia hoax. Stories like these make Trump’s 2016 victory even more
remarkable.

Daily Beast Retracts Article Alleging Melania-Epstein Link
How did Donald and Melania Trump meet? According to a now-deleted Daily Beast
article, the couple became acquainted through a modeling agent connected to
Jeffrey Epstein. But that’s not true, and now the liberal outlet is covering
its tracks.
The Daily Beast’s website axed the piece on Thursday, replacing it with an
editor’s note apologizing “for any confusion” after the first lady’s lawyers
demanded its removal.
“After this story was published, The Beast received a letter from First Lady
Melania Trump’s attorney challenging the headline and framing of the article,”
the statement read. “After reviewing the matter, the Beast has taken down the
article and apologizes for any confusion or misunderstanding,” it added.
The original claim came from reporter Michael Wolff, who has a storied history
as a “shoddy, dishonest journalist” who “clearly plays loose with the facts.”

White House Threatens Big Pharma with Price Controls
Donald Trump has sent letters to 17 pharmaceutical CEOs demanding they lower
their prices and threatening to “deploy every tool” to ensure they do so.
“This unacceptable burden on American families ends with my administration,”
the messages said. “If you refuse to step up, we’ll deploy every tool in our
arsenal to protect American families from continued abusive drug pricing
practices,” they continued.
That language may be nightmare fuel for America’s remaining Barry Goldwater
disciples, but it is music to the rest of the country’s ears. The free market
has allowed U.S. drug costs to become completely out of control, forcing
Americans to go bankrupt to afford medications that citizens of other countries
can afford without thinking twice.A recent HHS report found that U.S. drug
prices are278% higher than in 33 other countries
<[link removed]>
. That is not sustainable or acceptable.
We’re not advocates for government overreach, but it’s undeniable that
Washington’s strict adherence to a laissez-faire approach has allowed this
issue to become this bad. The White House is right to choose a different
approach.Read more

The Presidential Fitness Test Is Back
Did you see this July study?
<[link removed]>
It shows the extent to which America’s children’s health is deteriorating. The
details are jarring.
Over 20% of kids are obese. Loneliness is skyrocketing. From 2007 to 2022,
American youth were1.8 times more likely to die than kids in other high-income
countries.
We’re not doctors, but we know that more exercise and time outdoors, paired
with fewer pills, screens, and chronic isolation, would help reverse those
troubling trends. The White House does too.
Donald Trump signed an executive order to revive the Presidential Fitness
Test on Thursday, calling the move “an important step in our mission to make
America healthy again.”
The original Presidential Fitness Test began during the Eisenhower
administration, asking students to perform a combination of push-ups, pull-ups,
sit-ups, running, and reaching for their toes while seated. It ended during the
Obama presidency.
Will those exercises alone mold our next generation into a band of chiseled
gladiators, transforming America into the epitome of individual health? Of
course not. But the routine will encourage children to embrace fitness, tackle
personal goals, and hold themselves to a wellness standard. Some of the left
will decry the program as a tool for discouraging fatness. They will be
correct. That’s the whole point.Read more

WORD SALAD: Kamala Harris Burdens America with a Book
“She can’t speak. She can’t talk. She can’t do an interview.”
That’s how Donald Trump described Kamala Harris
<[link removed]> on Thursday, and he was
spot on. But can she write? We’re about to find out.
The former vice president has announced plans to cash in on her failed 2024
White House bid, launching a new book about the “behind-the-scenes” of the
“shortest presidential campaign in modern history.”
The book is titled “107 Days,” a reference to the length of Harris’s
campaign. In hindsight, the only way she could have won was if she’d had even
less time than that. The more voters got to know her, the less they liked her.
It’s sad that some people still think she has a chance in 2028.Read more

“They’re Treated Like Animals”
We highly recommend watching Thursday’s episode of The Tucker Carlson Show
<[link removed]>. It features retired
U.S. Green Beret Tony Aguilar, one of the few Americans who has seen the aid
sites in Gaza. As you listen to the interview, consider these two questions:
<[link removed]>
Is Aguilar credible?
<[link removed]>
A story is only as reliable as its teller. The more honest a record a person
has, the more trustworthy their accounts of past events are. So can Aguilar be
trusted to tell the truth? Let’s review his résumé.
Anthony Aguilar has spent his entire adult life serving his country. He
enrolled at West Point as a young man and received his Army commission
immediately after graduating. He served in the special forces for25 years,
earning the title of Green Beret Lieutenant Colonel and going on12 deployments
to war zones across the world’s most dangerous regions.
Iraq three times. Same with Afghanistan. Plus Syria, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan,
Jordan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
He experienced combat in many of those countries, earned a Purple Heart and
Bronze Star, then retired and signed up to distribute aid to suffering
Palestinians struggling to survive their region’s latest war.
That record is worth establishing before hearing Aguilar’s testimony. He has
lived a more honorable and selfless life than most people could fathom, and
he’s seen considerably more jaw-dropping violence than the average American
could stomach. It’s hard to imagine he’s lying or overreacting.
<[link removed]>
Should the United States continue supporting what’s happening?
<[link removed]>
This is the key question. The Biden administration was never shy to strongly
condemn the Israeli government’s behavior, but it lacked the guts to threaten
to yank its funding. That meant the White House’s criticisms had no teeth. If
America wants its “special ally” to conduct itself appropriately, telling its
leadership to shape up or lose its generous welfare is the only option. That’s
where the leverage lies.
So should that be the goal? Or is Israel acting in a manner that justifies
the U.S. gifting it billions of tax dollars each year? Take a moment to read
these quotes from the interview. They make the answer as clear as day.
On how the Israeli Defense Forces treats Palestinian civilians…
<[link removed]>
“They treated them like animals… the IDF, and in some cases [the United
States], don’t recognize these people as human beings… but I saw these human
beings.”
<[link removed]>
Aguilar then showed photos of the innocent people he was talking about.
<[link removed]>
“These are the people that we’re dehumanizing, that we’re killing in mass
scale. That we’re depriving of food and water. That we are torturing, in a way,
because they’re not eating at all. And we’re calling them all Hamas… I’ve seen
it with my own eyes. Not everybody is Hamas… Is Hamas amongst the population?
Of course they are. But it doesn’t mean that the entire population is Hamas… we
treat them like animals with no dignity.”
“As [civilians] are coming to the sites, the IDF shoot at them. Machine guns.
Mortars. Tank rounds. Artillery. I have all of this on video… they’re shooting
into the dark at thousands of people. When the sun rises, and bodies are strewn
along the road, the IDF say, ‘Oh, we didn’t do that.’ Really? How did that
happen then?”
<[link removed]>
On the distribution sites…
<[link removed]>
“The only way I can describe the sites is death traps. And they didn’t become
death traps. They were designed as death traps. The United States puts aid and
we lure [people] in, and when they leave, they get shot at… never have I seen
this level of depravity and disrespect for human dignity.”
<[link removed]>
On a young boy he witnessed the Israeli military kill…
<[link removed]>
“This little boy was similar in age to my son… I see my son’s face when I look
at him… when he left [the aid distribution site], he was killed by the IDF.
Why? Because they lack discipline, they lack standards, and they lack basic
human decency… When you use machine guns, and tank rounds, and mortar rounds to
control a crowd, what do you think is going to happen? And the United States
stands by and watches it.”
<[link removed]>
The standing and watching must end. Now.
<[link removed]>
Video of the Day
<[link removed]>
Elizabeth Warren takes a tumble.
<[link removed]>
This Day in History
August 1, 1861: The publication of the world’s first weather forecast. British
naval officer Robert FitzRoy released his forecast inThe Times, accurately
predicting a clear, 62-degree day in London. FitzRoy grew inclined to produce
forecasts to help prevent deadly shipwrecks, believing warnings about inclement
weather could prevent such tragedies. Before forecasts, people relied on
watching clouds or observing animal behavior to predict the weather. For
example, when “weather frogs” climbed up a little ladder in a jar with water, a
pleasant climate was supposedly on the way. Read more
