Hi John,

It’s been one month since George Floyd was murdered by police in Minneapolis. Since then, millions of people across the entire nation have raised their voices to say one thing:

Black Lives Matter.

Anti-Black racism is alive and well today throughout the country, including here in Maine. We collectively need to change that. Building a better future requires every single one of us working together to identify where racist ideas and policies persist and demanding that those things change.

It's not just on our elected leaders to make change, fighting against racism is incumbent on every single person here. Maine's motto, “Dirigo”, is Latin for “I lead”. With that in mind, I want to hear from you about how you’re leading the fight to dismantle white supremacy in your own life.

What have you started doing to deconstruct racism in your own networks? [ [link removed] ]

In solidarity,

Lisa
