Since it’s the end of the month, I know your inbox is probably filled to the brim with emails like these, but I wanted to explain why your support — right here, right now — is so important.

In Congress, I’m fighting around the clock to uphold the values that unite our state: Protecting immigrant families, tackling corruption, defending the right to choose, and holding Trump accountable.

But to win these fights, we need to win elections. And as much as I wish this wasn’t the case, it takes A LOT of resources to win a toss-up race like mine.

So yes. That means I have to send you emails like these asking for a donation. Not to boost my own ego, but because there is so much riding on how hard we fight to defend this seat.
