Texas Unemployment Hits Record Low - Our record-low 3.4% unemployment​ is better than FULL employment. It’s a great time to be doing business in Texas. However, unemployment is so low that businesses cannot find the workers they need. Companies are being forced to turn down business because they can’t fill open jobs. Surprise, surprise... One thing that would help is sensible immigration reform!

We Are Better Off Now - We are restoring this exceptional nation as the best place to conduct business and safely raise a family. Are we better off now than we were four years ago?  Absolutely. 

Texas is a Model for Making College Affordable, Accessible - Successful Texas initiatives have long served as a model for other state and federal programs. From our low-regulation and pro-business climate, to initiatives to reduce crime rates and reform the criminal justice system, Texas innovation works. We think it’s time for others to follow suit and make affordable higher education a reality for all Americans.

It's past time that illegal immigrants and the people who employ them pay their fair share. The United States needs a system where the undocumented would be issued tamper-proof IDs, taxed at a rate equal to or higher than American citizens, and required to work for employers who deduct and match taxes.
