Friends, it's time.

The country is still grieving the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner, and so many other Black Americans killed by acts of police brutality.

But we also know that grief alone will not get us through this moment - justice, activism, and action will. That's why we stand in support of the House version of the Justice in Policing Act moving through Congress, and need your help to make it law - NOW.

The House bill includes critical language that will give state Attorneys General direct power to hold law enforcement accountable for its actions. But it also includes preventative measures to save lives before an AG ever has to investigate. The chokehold that killed Eric Garner and the no-knock warrant that led to Breonna Taylor's death would both be banned under this law.

Now we need you to stand with us to call on Congress to pass this bill to ban these lethal actions and hold police accountable. We need 15,000 more people to sign our petition before it closes at midnight, and you still haven't signed. PLEASE, do not let this moment pass without action:

Add your name now to demand the passage of the Justice in Policing Act.
