The last time I spoke with Yani, our client detained at the South Louisiana ICE Processing Center, she confirmed our worst fears. The facility just identified their first case of COVID-19 in a staff member. Now that the virus is spreading within the facility, it's more urgent than ever that we get Yani out.

Watch this video message she sent us from detention, then sign the petition to demand her freedom—and the freedom of all LGBTQ asylum seekers.

ICE could release all LGBTQ asylum seekers today. Keeping them locked up is not only dangerous, it’s immoral. If we don’t make a lot of noise, they’ll keep getting away with it.
