As we shared in the spring, Ginger Mullaney officially began her role as CEO of Healthy Futures of Texas on July 1st. With deep experience in health education, systems change, and adolescent well-being, Ginger has hit the ground running. She has been connecting with community partners, aligning our strategic priorities, and continuing to elevate youth
voice as a driving force behind our work.
In her first weeks, Ginger has emphasized collaboration, innovation, and local impact as cornerstones of our next chapter. One of her first major initiatives is the launch of our new online learning platform, HFTX Classroom, which equips youth-serving professionals with tools and training to lead sexual health education in their communities. With expanded resources, deeper partnerships, and a renewed focus on community impact, we’re already seeing this transition spark meaningful momentum. As Ginger shared, “Young people and their communities deserve more than just to be heard—they should be truly listened to. Our work must reflect the realities they face and center the partnerships that support them.”
Stay tuned. This is only the beginning. |
