My name is Jamaal Bowman. Like Justice Democrat Alex Morse, I was running
against an entrenched incumbent who had spent the last 31 years enforcing
the corporate status quo in Washington. But two days ago, propelled by the
work of grassroots supporters and donors, independent outlets have
confirmed that our movement has been victorious over Eliot Engel!

My victory is a signal that it’s time to usher in a new generation of
leadership in the Democratic Party. Our communities are tired of being
ignored and the people are ready and willing to fight for change.

So today, I am proud to endorse Alex Morse for Congress! His race is our
best opportunity to shift the balance of power in Congress to the people.

Alex and I grew up very similarly. We were raised working-class in
low-income neighborhoods. We understand what it’s like to struggle, to

for corporate interests.

My win proves the progressive movement isn’t slowing down. Look at what
progressives like AOC and Ayanna Pressley have been able to accomplish in
just two years. Imagine what we could accomplish with a Congress full of
us!

people across the country like Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, racial
justice, immigrant rights, and student loan reform. But he needs your
