Due to the state budget restrictions that are impacting the state government budget and services, we have reviewed all contracts, programs and services that the Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing provides in Washington state. Washington Relay is one of the contracts that will require us to reduce some of the funding expenses. As a result, we are announcing that we will discontinue offering Full-Time WA Relay outreach and remote conference captioning services for the duration of the existing Hamilton Relay contract beginning Aug. 1, 2025.
Beginning Aug. 1, 2025, Outreach information will be referred to the Washington Relay website: https://hamiltonrelay.com/washington/services.html and will include contact information to the TRS Program Manager. All WA Relay advertisements will be processed through Facebook.
