Dear Friend,
On Al Jazeera last night, Green Party leader Elizabeth May spoke with unflinching honesty (content warning: news clip contains graphic footage) about Canada's complicity in humanitarian suffering, and what it means to be "on the right side of history." She didn't mince words about the government's contradictions. Like promising arms embargos while continuing to ship weapons, or the refusal to criticize policies that "sear our souls."
This is what leadership rooted in conscience, not calculation, looks like. The courage to speak uncomfortable truths. The moral clarity to call out hypocrisy wherever it lives, whether it's on international human rights, climate accountability, or democratic reform here at home.
As Elizabeth told you in her email yesterday, thanks to your tremendous support we've been able to reduce our election debt by more than $150,000. But what Greens have raised together goes deeper than dollars. We've raised expectations. We've raised the bar for what principled leadership looks like in Parliament and beyond.
And we're not done yet.
Today is the last day of July, and we haven't quite hit our target. Every donation between now and midnight helps us finish this month strong. It also builds our capacity to elect more MPs who demonstrate the kind of leadership Canada desperately needs.
Will you help us close July strong?

In the weeks ahead, we'll be sharing more from your nation-building responses and more ways to get involved. Thank you for everything you've made possible this month.
With deep gratitude,
Your Green Party of Canada Team
P.S. Political donations receive generous tax credits—a $100 donation costs just $25 after credit. Every contribution helps retire our debt and amplify the principled voice you heard on the international stage today.
