Friend --

We’re launching a campaign calling for a simple, but revolutionary principle to restore balance to our courts: no corporate lawyers for the federal bench during the next Democratic administration.

We laid out our plan with an op-ed in The Atlantic, and Senator Warren––a long-time critic of the corporate capture of our courts––has given it a boost!

Our courts are weighted too heavily with judges who advanced corporate interests as lawyers -- and there are far too few judges who have experience on behalf of everyday Americans, representing workers, consumers, and indigent defendants.

At the same time, the law is being skewed in favor of corporations, giving them astonishing power. Under Chief Justice John Roberts, the Supreme Court has sided with corporate interests 70% of the time.

If we are going to rein in corporate power, address income inequality, and close the racial wealth gap, we need to turn the tide in our courts. Click below to boost our op-ed and help us fight the corporate capture of our courts.

Thanks,
