Right now, Democratic Attorneys General like Kwame Raoul are the last line of defense between a reckless administration and the rights of millions of Americans.

This month, Kwame joined a coalition of AGs to sue the Trump administration for illegally halting over $6 billion in federal education funding — that’s money meant for after-school programs, teacher training, suicide prevention, and support for English learners and migrant students.

This isn’t about partisanship. It’s about upholding the law. When Congress allocates funding and the president tries to block it without cause or authority, that’s a violation of the Constitution — and it’s the job of Attorneys General to step in.
