Hi,
On July 29, 2025, Administrator Lee Zeldin announced that he plans
to dismantle the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) chief legal
tool for fighting pollution and mitigating climate change, known as
the Endangerment Finding. Established in 2009, it granted the Agency
the authority to regulate greenhouse gases under the Clean Air
Act.
What's at stake: Without this protection,
polluters get a free pass. The EPA's own data shows the Clean Air Act
prevents over 230,000 premature deaths annually.1 Revoking
the Endangerment Finding threatens to reverse this life-saving
progress, especially harming our children.
We don't have to choose: America can have both
clean air and economic growth. In 2024, nearly 90% of new U.S. power
came from renewables,2 and clean energy jobs grew twice as
fast as the rest of the economy.3
History matters: The EPA was created by Republican
President Nixon in 1970, just months after 20 million Americans
marched on the first Earth Day demanding clean air and water. That
bipartisan commitment is now under attack.
Take Action Now:
Our children deserve better. Act today.
