Republicans claim to be the party of “fiscal responsibility,” but the Congressional Budget Office says the tax law passed earlier this month will actually add $3.4 trillion to the national debt -- to cut taxes for billionaires.
But here’s the thing, this didn’t have to happen. They weren’t forced into this vote. They chose to hand out tax cuts to billionaires and giant corporations knowing full well what it would cost.
It’s not just a bad policy. It's a failure of leadership and a betrayal of the people they were elected to serve. And we need to make sure it costs them their seats. Chip in if you can to support my work helping Democrats win back the Senate. [[link removed]]

This law will make it harder for families to access medical care. It will reduce food assistance for kids. It will raise costs on everyday Americans -- all to keep President Trump and the wealthiest people on the planet happy. The tradeoff is a moral and economic failure on every level.
And Republicans own every bit of it.
I’m not going to let this go. We’re going to keep talking about this, again and again, until this law is repealed -- but I need your help to do it.
Tonight is the July end-of-month fundraising deadline. If you’re able, I’d be grateful if you chipped in before the end of the day. [[link removed]]
