Friend, I am proud to work for everyday Americans in Congress. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for my Republican colleagues. Last week, Speaker Mike Johnson sent Congress home early to avoid a vote on the release of the Epstein files. The offices of Republicans were empty because instead of doing their jobs, they’re facilitating a cover up. I am committed to standing up for working families and fighting for our democracy, and I will keep showing up even and especially when Republicans hide from accountability.
