Last Saturday kicked off our 100-day countdown to Election Day — and whether we like it or not, what happens next starts now . Forget the headlines. Zoom in. There are more than 100,000 local and statewide races on the ballot this year. We are talking mayors, judges, school boards, city councils — the people deciding how our communities are policed, how our neighborhoods are funded, and yes, what our children are allowed to learn.
And while voter suppression is still very real — so is community. So is creativity. So is the culture we build when we look out for each other and keep showing up. So, if you’re wondering what you can do in the next 100 days — start where you are. Bring it to your group chat. Text your cousin. Pull up to a local city council meeting. Help someone check their registration. The power isn’t in any one person, it’s in all of us choosing to act, together.
