Today is our end-of-month deadline, and this is the most important email I’ve ever sent you. Newsom is plotting to cheat us out of our seat in Congress. He plans to remove 50,000 Republican voters from my district and replace them with Democrats.

Last year, Newsom did everything possible to defeat my reelection. He even sent his own “Deputy Secretary” to run against me. He failed spectacularly: we won by double digits in a race the Democrats had made a top target and that everyone thought would be razor close.

Newsom realizes he can’t win a fair election. So now he’s planning to take 50,000 Democrat-leaning voters, who currently have a different Member of Congress, and make them eligible to vote in my district. He will also make the same number of Republicans voters

Not long ago, Californians voted to establish a nonpartisan Citizens Commission to draw district lines at the start of every decade. Now, Newsom is planning to dismantle that Commission, subvert the will of voters, and redraw the map himself mid-decade for pure partisan gain.

He wants to oust not just me, but 6 of our existing 9 Republican Members of Congress in California. That means we would go from having 9 out of 52 seats to just
