Dear John,

Texas lawmakers are at it again. Instead of focusing on critical issues like flood relief, infrastructure, and education, they’ve once again chosen to target transgender Texans.

In this special session, happening now, lawmakers are considering an anti-trans facilities ban in all government buildings: schools, courthouses, jails, and more.

A facilities ban would make all Texans less safe, subjecting them to the same divisive, fear-mongering tactics we’ve seen for generations.

Donate to support PFLAG National’s Trans People Belong billboard campaign to send a clear message to the Texas legislature: Don’t mess with trans Texans!

With 600 bills targeting trans people and their families across the country—almost 200 in Texas alone—PFLAG National is proud to partner with TENT (the Transgender Education Network of Texas) to relaunch our billboard campaign and elevate messages of belonging and support.

You can always count on PFLAG to show up for trans people and their families—and I hope our families can count on you to show up for them by making a gift to fund this greatly needed campaign.

Let’s fight back,

Katie Blair (she/her)
VP, Advocacy

P.S. Spread the word about our Trans People Belong campaign to your family and friends – and if you live in Texas, look for our billboards in Amarillo, Baytown, Beaumont, Brookshire, Dallas, Irving, Odessa, and San Antonio!
