Teaching Preschoolers is designed to help preschool volunteers understand how preschoolers learn and what teaching methods are best. It also helps teachers understand the importance of building a culture that will lay strong spiritual foundations in the lives of preschoolers as they take their first steps toward faith. Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers go to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ. Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers are trained and credentialed, and are provided access into areas of crisis where we can meet people at their points of need. Please prayerfully consider if Disaster Relief is a ministry in which the Lord is calling you to serve.

Ministry is shaped and fueled by conversations. In children’s ministry, conversations grow by the minute. In this online cohort, you’ll learn that conversations boil down to discipleship opportunities. The goal is that you will be developed as a leader and grow in your ability to ask, seek, and engage in all the different relational conversations that come your way.

Arkansas WMU Annual Meeting & Missions Celebration 2025 during the Arkansas Baptist Women Conference at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church in Little Rock.  In the WMU lunchtime community group, you’ll experience a two-hour focus on missions, missions, missions!  Connie Dixon, National WMU President and Susie Helton, Director of Refugee Sewing Society (RSS) in Clarkston, Georgia, will be the featured guests. Replicate is a weekend full of powerful teaching and worship that challenges students to "replicate" the life of Jesus. Accompanied by exciting games and activities, Replicate is designed to encourage and equip not only students to reflect Jesus in their everyday lives, but their leaders as well.

Arkansas Baptist churches are asked to complete the Annual Church Profile (ACP) statistical survey. The Arkansas Baptist State Convention (ABSC) and the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and their agencies use the data collected to be aware of trends and plan ministry accordingly. 

 Your church should receive a packet in the mail around the end of August with printed instructions. Or you may go to ar.sbcworkspace.com beginning September 2 to fill out the survey online. Call 501-376-4791, if you need your church's login information.

Annual Church Profile tutorial

The 172nd annual meeting of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention will begin on Monday evening and conclude on Tuesday afternoon at First Baptist Church in Russellville. The Pastors Conference and Ministers Wives' Conference will still be held on Monday. Watch absc.org for a full schedule of events to be posted in early October.
