I have three updates for you on the state of my race:

New Jersey is a battleground state. It’s not a safe Democratic state anymore – far from it. The last governor’s election here was decided by 3%. New Jersey’s margin in the 2024 presidential election was 6%. And the latest polling in this race since we entered the general election? It shows me leading my opponent by single digits.
Donald Trump is doing everything he can to defeat me. He endorsed my opponent, Jack Ciattarelli, and led a rally for him – meaning MAGA money from all over the country is going to pour into Ciattarelli’s campaign.
The stakes of this race are high not only for New Jersey, but for the entire country. This is our chance to show the entire nation that the people reject the Trump administration’s incompetence and authoritarianism. And it’s our chance to get started on a better path forward – one where we prioritize doing what’s best for working families over what’s best for billionaires and corrupt political allies. There is no more important bellwether ahead of 2026.
If I win this race, we can drive down mortgage and rental costs, crack down on shady middlemen making prescription medications more expensive, and bring down utility costs by bringing more clean, cheap power like solar onto the grid.

On the other hand, if Republicans win this race, then our state will fall under the grip of Jack Ciattarelli, who is proudly standing by Donald Trump as he decimates the rule of law and puts our economy on course for destruction.

Make no mistake about it: New Jersey is a battleground state, and the stakes are too high for us to get caught sleeping this time around.
