I’m Isabelle Benoit, and I was just brought on as the Development and Communications Fellow here at Ruth’s List.
I graduated from Florida State University in December with a Master’s degree in American politics and policy. Before that, I received a bachelor's in political science with a minor in international relations from the University of South Florida. Last year, I worked my first big election cycle as a Digital Strategist– raising funds online for Democratic campaigns and candidates from across Florida.
Now, I can sharpen those skills while supporting an organization that is dedicated to electing leaders who are passionate about women’s and LGBTQ+ rights, like me. And it’s all thanks to supporters like you who believe in giving young folks like me a shot at making a difference.
I haven’t been here long, but I’m already dedicated to putting in the work. From engaging with our online audience to managing data for our finance team, I’ve hit the ground running at Ruth’s List in order to keep pace with this incredible team.
Everyday, I’m learning valuable skills that any political operative can use in their careers — and I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity.
With your help we can pass these invaluable skills on to the next group of fellows and continue expanding our movement to elect more democratic pro-choice women in Florida.
Thank you for believing in us and helping make a difference.
With Gratitude,
Isabelle B.
