<p><strong>Nomination papers available July 6 2020</strong></p>
<p><strong>WARD 1 SCHOOL COMMITTEE</strong></p>
<p>Nomination papers for the Ward 1 School Committee seat are available in the Auburn City Clerk's Office beginning July 6, 2020. All nomination papers must be filed with the Clerk no later than 4:30 PM on Thursday, August 20, 2020 (75 days prior to the election per Auburn Charter). No less than 25 signatures of qualified voters&nbsp;from Ward 1 are required. On or before August 30, 2020, the City Clerk must certify and make available to the public the names and residences of candidates who have filed nomination petitions.&nbsp;The Election is to be held on November 3, 2020. This is for Ward 1 residents only.&nbsp;For more information, please contact the City Clerk's Office.</p>
