Immigration enforcement has ramped up since President Trump took office in January, including in Pittsburgh, where agents have raided businesses and staked out municipal courthouses ([link removed]) .

A grassroots network of volunteers has sprung up to protect the civil rights of people who ICE may seek to arrest ([link removed]) . More than 250 volunteers organized by nonprofit Casa San José document ICE activity, educate residents about their rights and accompany people at risk of arrest.

Public Source photojournalist Quinn Glabicki spent a month alongside volunteers and witnessed the fear, confusion and uncertainty ([link removed]) unfolding in our region.
